Hugo Pratt work

Another work we had to do for  History and Practices of Drawing. This time, our teacher chose Hugo Pratt (comic book creator) as the artist to work on.

We had to create a sequence of 3 images based on his artwork, and which one of them had to have color.

So, this is my idea. I started with the sketches, then passed them to A3 paper and made the outlines with pitt black pen.

For the black parts I used chinese ink; For the color part I used Caran d'Ache Fibralo water-soluble pens - then I mixed the color with water (image 2 and 3).

I'm still working on this, specially the boat part, so I hope everything works out fine...
